Jamey Whitley has lived in the Tyler area his entire life and is dedicated to making East Texas a vibrant, engaging place to live. After graduating from Whitehouse High School, Jamey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a focus on Public Relations and Advertising from The University of Texas at Tyler. While at UT Tyler, he co-founded Card 53 Comedy, an improvisational comedy group that has been entertaining audiences around East Texas for over 15 years. 

His work with the City of Tyler's Liberty Hall Theatre sparked a passion for Downtown Tyler’s revitalization, and as a member of Leadership Tyler Class 34, Jamey actively works toward making Tyler an entertainment hub for East Texas. This mission to enhance the local quality of life is what inspired him to become a REALTOR®. 

Known on social media as “The Funny Real Estate Guy”, Jamey combines his passion for making others laugh with real estate, creating a fun, memorable experience for clients making one of life’s biggest decisions. 

In 2023, East Texas Real Producers magazine recognized Jamey as their "February Rising Star,” and he was awarded Rookie REALTOR® of the Year by the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors. In 2024, Whitley obtained his Broker's License become an Associate Broker at Shilling Real Estate. Jamey continues to make an impact in the community he loves serving as Member Engagement committee chair for the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors and serves on the Board of Directors for the Whitehouse Education Foundation and Next Step Community Solutions.
